Ultrasound workshop (Half Day) Programme

08h05 – 08h10              Welcome and meet the faculty Dave Fredericks

08h10 – 08h20              Physics & Knobology (Short Didactic Lecture) including How to clean probes, sterile covers Dave Fredericks/Dawie Schoeman

08h25 – 08h40              CVC (didactic lecture) Clint Hendrikse

08h45 – 09h05              Cardiac (didactic lecture) Flip Cloete

 

Next to rotate through various stations (35 min total) 5 min to clean & prep & 30 minutes to do the station.

Instructor will do a short PPT & practical demonstration. (10 minutes) but must allow sufficient time for hands on scanning. Max 5 participants per station

There will be some case based scenarios at each station.
