This workshop will be an interactive, hands-on format with a number of stations, and will cover the following topics:

The following will be covered:

1. Cardiac output: What do we measure; how do we measure and how to interpret the data
2. Measurement of fluid responsiveness  .
3. Interpretation of waveforms; linking shock to the clinical picture of the patient, and the management of the shocked patient.
4. Intra Abdominal Pressure monitoring: Why are we including this in a haemodynamic workshop? How to measure? How to interpret the readings.
